According to sources, in the Cabinet meeting, the upper castes (swarn) have been stamped on the decision of 10% reservation. There is a possibility that the Modi government may present the constitution amendment bill on Tuesday i.e. January 08, 2019 in parliament. According to this bill, the reservation will be given to economically weaker sections of the upper caste people (swarn people). The swarn people (the upper caste people), only those whose annual income is less than 8 lakh rupees will come under this reservation. To avail the benefits of Upper Caste Reservation | 10% सवर्ण आरक्षण the annual income should be less than eight lakh rupees. The Necessary Documents to Avail the Benefits of Upper Caste Reservation | 10% सवर्ण आरक्षण are as follows:
- income certificate,
- caste certificate,
- BPL card,
- PAN card,
- Aadhar card,
- Bank passbook,
- Income Tax Return (ITR)
Who can avail the benefit of Upper Caste Reservation | 10% सवर्ण आरक्षण?
These are the standards under which upper caste people will get the benefit of Upper Caste Reservation | 10% सवर्ण आरक्षण. The swarn or the upper caste people who have:
- Annual Income less than eight lakh rupees
- Farming land less than 5 acres
- Area of the House less than 1000 square feet
- Notified land less than 109 yards of Corporation
- Corporation’s non-notified land less than 209 yards which are not under any kind of reservation.
Quantum of Reservation Quota of Upper Caste Reservation | 10% सवर्ण आरक्षण:
According to sources, reservation quota will be increased from existing 49.5% to 59.5%. Since a long time, financially backward people from the upper castes were demanding the reservation.
However, the way to implementation of Upper Caste Reservation | 10% सवर्ण आरक्षण is still difficult. The government will have to amend the constitution for the implementation of 10% Swarn Reservation. And, for this, it will also need the support from other parties in the Parliament.
After the new verdict, the way for the Jats, Gujjars, Marathas and other upper castes will also be cleared for the reservation, if they fall into economically weaker sections.
Rajya Sabha proceedings have been extended for One Day:
The term of the Rajya Sabha proceedings has been extended for one day to pass the bill of Upper Caste Reservation | 10% सवर्ण आरक्षण. However, according to the pre-determined schedule, the proceedings of the House were scheduled to adjourn only on Tuesday i.e. on January 08, 2019. The Union Cabinet has approved the bill on Monday, which will be attempted to pass in this session only. The bill will be introduced in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday i.e. on January 08, 2019; and where it is likely to be passed on the same day. Rajya Sabha Speaker M. Venkaiah Naidu has extended the proceeding for one day after discussion with all the parties.
